Curriculum

NEA Baptist's Internal Medicine Residency Program offers a unique education and training opportunity as part of the area's only integrated healthcare system. With NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital and NEA Baptist Clinic located both on the same medical campus, our residents never have to travel to participate in required rotations or chosen electives. As the only medical residency program on campus, our Internal Medicine residents have unfettered access to clinical experiences and procedural cases with hands-on experience and leading-edge technology.

We are building a first-class learning and working environment through a highly focused, tailored program led by an energetic faculty that includes some of the brightest minds in the region.

Simulation Lab

Our program's simulation lab, featuring the Laerdal SimMan 3G PLUS patient simulator with integrated POCUS, allows us to practice high stress clinical scenarios, provides exposure to diagnosing and treating less common conditions, attaining procedural competency and reinforcing evidence-based treatment of common conditions.

Rotations & Electives

Our program offers 4-week rotations in medical subspecialties and a variety of inpatient and outpatient electives; each located right here on campus. Through our mentorship and scholarly support programs, we help our residents tailor their educational experience to best fit their future career plans.
